AMSTERDAM - Re|Fuse is a non-profit, online and offline magazine initiated by visual artist Olfa Ben Ali in 2018, that hijacks the traditional language of fashion to address cutting-edge and ever-changing social issues. Re|Fuse is a unique collaborative voice for the unstoppable fashion flow of challenging trends,  sustainable mindsets & styles of humanity coming out of global hotspots as diverse as Aleppo, London, Ramallah, Baghdad, Mogadishu, Athens, Amsterdam and New York.

In Re|Fuse Magazine Vivienne Westwood, Wilbert Das, Renny Ramakers, Ronald Van Der Kemp, Scarlett Hooft Graafland, Bas Kosters, upcoming talent from ArtEZ and many others challenge the boundaries of [not only] fashion and reflect on today’s search for sustainability and luxury. Olfa is a conceptual artist born in Toulouse, France. She lives and works in Amsterdam. She received her bachelor of art from Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam in 2012. Vision and language interrelate in her works, which deal with the melancholy of loss, hopes for the future and the sometimes stark and harsh contrasts of the present that stand in between past and future. Using a language that crosses borders, disciplines and systems, her own experiences and minority discourse she questions and challenges with Re|Fuse today’s relationship between the influential language of fashion and today’s social issues. Full of contrasts and with a strong sense of humanity.
